As the UX designer and project lead, I developed a user-centered product strategy and defined the core features and interface structure. I designed the visor UI and mobile app, visualized hazard detection feedback, conducted interviews, and led user testing to identify pain points and refine the overall experience.

Made For Each Other

Safety Made Simple
The smart visor's lidar sensor allows workers to quickly detect and report potential hazards. The app integrates 3D maps to identify hazardous zones and allows for manual reporting, improving overall safety and efficiency.
Stay Connected. Stay Safe.
Bone-conduction headsets and real-time translation enable seamless, hands-free communication across languages. The app reinforces this with chat logs and summaries, making cross-language teamwork effortless.
Master Tools, Minimize Risks
Enhance learning and minimize risks by using the smart visor’s image recognition capabilities and guided training videos on the app.
Cross-Platform Accessibility: Tablet & PC App
Task management, hazard reporting, and worker communication are all optimized for both tablet and desktop use.

One of my biggest takeaways from Argus was learning how to make decisions in situations where there wasn't a clear answer. Rather than focusing solely on interface design, I spent time understanding user behaviors, validating assumptions, and aligning priorities across the team. This experience strengthened my ability to approach design as a strategic problem solving process rather than a visual exercise.
