I joined the project during the later stages and focused on shaping the in-car interface system. Using existing usability research, I worked alongside engineers and industrial designers to create UI experiences that felt intuitive, adaptable, and easy to navigate while driving.

Different drive modes reshape the interface based on the driving context—from off-road exploration to everyday commuting.
Gear Experience
Instant Recognition
The simplified interface makes gear transitions feel immediate and easy to recognize while keeping the driver focused on the road.
Control Screen
The Command Hub
The center display was designed to reduce cognitive load while driving. Instead of overwhelming the user with dense menus, the interface surfaces only the most relevant controls based on the driving situation.


Passenger Screen
Entertainment Meets Ease
The passenger experience was designed as a lightweight digital lounge—giving passengers access to entertainment, communication, and ambient controls without distracting the driver.

Final thoughts
TYR changed the way I think about UX design.
Designing for a vehicle meant considering far more than the interface itself. Every interaction had to work within a constantly changing environment shaped by movement, visibility, and driver attention. The project pushed me to think more carefully about how digital experiences can feel adaptive, emotionally aware, and easy to navigate without becoming distracting. Working closely with engineers and industrial designers also gave me a deeper understanding of how strong product experiences are built through collaboration and thoughtful decision-making.
